FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION · iF DESIGN AWARD 2027
FitWoody, in motion.
The health app that adapts to your day, on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. A film of one minute and forty three seconds, in 4K.
Why there is a film.
FitWoody is built for one particular morning: you slept badly, the week has been long, and you are close to giving up. On that morning the app has already lowered today’s goal and tells you why in plain words, with your own body as the only reference.
A still image can show a screen, but not a goal that moves or a colour that changes with how you feel. So we made a short film. It follows the signals the watch collects, the goal that adapts to them, a night of sleep, a workout rated by how it felt, years of history in the FitPassport, a reading logged by talking to Siri, a chart you can hear, 36 languages and the four devices where it all lives.
The Home works like a small inner flame. It goes from red when you are exhausted to yellow, green and blue when you are rested, and its movement slows down the way breathing does. Short sentences say what matters, colour tells you how you are, and icons back it up so colour never has to explain on its own.
Each device has its own job: a quick look on the wrist, the essentials on iPhone, your history on iPad, several windows side by side on Mac. It works with the devices people already own, every chart can be heard with VoiceOver, and it speaks 36 languages, Basque included.
We are two people, and this is the app we wanted for ourselves: one made for the days you want to give up.
