How to collect metabolic data
FitWoody collects your metabolic data while you sleep. Nighttime is the best moment for this measurement because your body is at rest and there’s less “data noise” from movement or daily activity.

Nighttime is the best moment for this measurement because your body is at rest and there’s less “data noise” from movement or daily activity.
To record these metrics, you need to:
Wear your Apple Watch while sleeping.
Make sure your watch is in Sleep Mode.
Turn on Sleep Mode from Apple Watch
Open Control Center on your Apple Watch (swipe up from the watch face).
Tap the Sleep Mode icon (a bed symbol).
Sleep Mode will stay active until you turn it off or your set wake time arrives.
Set Sleep Mode automatically
You can also schedule Sleep Mode so it turns on and off at the same times each day:
On your iPhone, open the Health app.
Tap Browse → Sleep.
Under Your Schedule, tap Full Schedule & Options.
Set your Bedtime and Wake Up times.
Make sure Sleep Mode is enabled for your schedule.
This will automatically activate Sleep Mode on your Apple Watch when your bedtime starts, and deactivate it when you wake up.
Tip: The more consistent your sleep schedule, the more accurate and useful your metabolic data will be over time.
